A loan of $575 helped to buy speakers and amplifiers, as well as men's clothing.

Omar's story

Omar is 21 years old and is a young, dynamic and cheerful entrepreneur. He is single, has no children, and lives at home with his parents, one of his brothers, his cousin and his niece. For work, Omar rents out sound equipment for social activities; he is hired every weekend. He has worked in this business for more than 10 months and he has become well known for the quality of his service. Alongside this business, he also sells men's clothing, such as polo shirts, t-shirts and pants that are good quality and in fashion, which he brings in from the capital. He has worked in this business for more than a year and has a good number of customers. He works in both businesses alone. He believes his businesses are profitable because of his earnings. He enjoys his work because of the income it provides, which allows him to help out economically in his home and to pay for his studies, as well as to buy personal items. For this reason, he is very excited to continue progressing and with some effort to open a clothing store. This would be his third loan with the institution MFP. Omar is very happy and thankful for the opportunity to have access to financial credit, and is committed to repaying his loans on time so that he can access more credit and make his dreams a reality. With the amount requested of 1500 nuevos soles, he will buy accessories for his equipment, such as speakers and amplifiers, as well as men's clothing in large quantities and at low prices, which he will buy in the capital.
