A loan of $400 helped to buy different types and brands of lubricant.

Roxana's story

Roxana is very hardworking and has 35 years of experience. She lives with Yudel, 36, and together they have two daughters. She owns a house made of good materials. She proudly carries out her business, the product of many years of work and consistent effort in selling automotive lubricants. She has 10 years of experience in this business, which is set up on the first floor of her house in a warm and comfortable environment.

She considers it a good business because they're products that don't need a lot of manual labor except for the application of the lubricants on the vehicles. She does this by hiring specialized personnel in the field, making hers a profitable business.

Currently she has noticed some increase in sales, which motivates her to buy more merchandise to keep her business well stocked. She hopes to continue working with her customary enthusiasm because her long-term goal is to expand her business with more services. One of her short-term goals is to acquire another plot of land on which to build another home and to open more businesses in the field to become one of the biggest micro-entrepreneurs in her town.

She has an impeccable record of 15 loans. The key to her investment has always been to have all her bills current because she says it's an indication of her progress. She likes to be part of her communal bank because she also was on the board of directors at one point.

With the 1,000 nuevos soles [PEN] she'll supplement her working capital for buying more lubricants of all types and brands.
