Tula's story

Tula, who is 43 years old, is a hard-working woman, happy, and striving. She lives with her partner in the house of her in-laws. Together they have a 9-year-old son. Tula's work consists of the retail sale of basic food products, among which are rice, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, oil, vegetables, and other items. She runs this business in the house of her in-laws. There she tends the store every day, full time. She has been working at the business for 5 years. At the beginning she had the help of her mother, but now the business is entirely hers and she receives help from her sister when she needs to take care of other things outside of the house. She complements this business with the sale of shoes for women, and this is going very well for her. This is her third loan with MFP. She is very grateful for the credit opportunity that they offer her and for the financial backing that she needs to continue forward. She promises to make her monthly payments in a punctual manner and to continue working with great responsibility along with the members of her communal bank.

With the 2000 PEN, she will buy merchandise to sell in her store: candies, rice, sugar, bread, eggs, milk, oils, vegetables, and other items.
