Angelica's story

Angélica, 48, is a hardworking woman who wants to make progress. She’s married to Miguel and they live with their three children and two grandchildren she loves very much. She’s happy to be able to have them nearby. Her house is made of substantial materials.

Angélica’s activity is cooking food like complete meals and to do so has established with much effort and dedication a modest restaurant at home. She’s been in business for more than 7 years and works with help of another person who helps her with customer service. She’s acquired a good clientele thanks to the tasty way she prepares the dishes she offers. She complements each dish with the sale of soft-drinks or other cold beverages.

What she likes about her activity is that it produces good income which helps her cover basic household expenses. She also feels very happy generating her own source of employment. Fortunately, her business has been well-received by her customers and this is why she’d like to offer them improved comfort and to maintain the good quality and flavor of the dishes she prepares.

This will be her 12th MFP loan and she’s very grateful for the credit opportunity she’s being offered and for the financial backup she needs to continue forward. She commits to make her monthly installment payments punctually and to continue working very responsibly with her fellow communal bank members. She will use the 1,500 new soles to buy some kitchen utensils she needs to replace like pots, ladles, dishes, cups, glasses and pans.
