A loan of $1,000 helped to buy 10 sacks of fertilizer, herbicide, and insecticide for his crop.

Luís Alexander's story

Luis is 42 years old. He is married and has three children. He has 20 years of experience as a corn farmer, having learned the trade from very young with his father, it being the only lucrative activity performed by his family. Luis works on his crop every day, cleaning, fertilizing, and controlling pests, among others. In order to buy the supplies he needs, Luis must ride on a pick up for forty minutes until he reaches the city, where he purchases the supplies. The loan he is requesting from Fundación Campo will be used to buy 10 sacks of fertilizer, herbicide, and insecticide for his crop. That way, he will buy all the supplies he needs at one time, saving him time and money. He will also be able to apply the products correctly and on time. He would like to buy a pick up to transport his crop, since he has to carry it on his back from the farm to his house, and a vehicle would make it easier.
