A loan of $500 helped to buy corn, oil, chicken, rice, tomatoes, onions, chilis, radish, propane gas for cooking and another table for the clients to eat at.

Floricelda's story

Floricelda, 49, is married and has two children. For four years she has been making and selling food in the market, which is work she learned to do by her own initiative. Before, she only devoted her time to doing domestic work in her home. She acquires her supplies in the market itself every day. The loan she is requesting from Fundación Campo is for buying corn, oil, chicken, rice, tomatoes, onions, chilis, radish, propane gas for cooking and another table for the clients to eat at. With this investment she will attain more supplies which will allow her to increase the quantity of food she makes and consequently sell more and obtain a better income for her family. Her goal is to install her business in her own home so she does not have to travel to and from the market.
