A loan helped to buy a mototaxi.

Yoli Elita's story

Yoli, 43, is a woman living in the city of Pucallpa with her six children who she loves and are her main reason for living. Sadly, she’s a single mother. She’s a very kind, hardworking, enthusiastic person who focuses all her efforts into moving her family forward. Yoli was unable to study a professional career because she had to start working very young to help out her parents. In her free time she enjoys cooking a delicious “Lomo Saltado” to share with her family.

With much effort and dedication, Yoli works in her small business selling fruit and beverages. She starts work very early every day and can work about ten hours daily. She feels good working and thinks she does well because of the kind way she treats her customers.

Yoli is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the support provided she will be able to buy a mototaxi that she’ll least out to drivers to provide transportation services and she can continue working and striving so that alongside her family she can reach her dream of seeing her children become good professionals.
