A loan of $400 helped to pay laborers.

Jorge's story

Motivation and respect for others characterize Jorge, a working man. He is 42 years old and is married to Flora. Together they have 4 children and they currently live in a home made of wood. Today they have parcels in which they have cultivated cocoa, coffee, yuca and corn. He has more than 20 years of experience in agricultural work. What is heartwarming is that thanks to this work he was able to provide his children with a good education with all of the amenities. However, the bad weather caused his crop to be affected by a lot of humidity, due to the constant rains. Because of this he desires to purchase coffee seedlings and to continue with the production of this crop which is in high demand at the market. He also wants to rent a lot for a home in the city where he plans to construct a home and send his children so that they can study a superior career. This will be his 7th loan with MFP. He has a history of compliance and responsibility regarding the payment of his shares. His responsibility and honesty has led him to be part of the board of his group, as president of the board. With the 1500 nuevos soles he will pay laborers to complete, in less than a month, the planting of the coffee seedlings.
