A loan of $875 helped a member to buy poultry products (eggs, chickens) and rabbits.

Noudjihou Group's story

Noudjihou is a group with four members, who all live in the same village. The group’s representative is called Romaine, and is pictured with her hand raised in the photo. She is 32 years of age, and is married to Didier. The couple has four children, some of whom are at school and all under their care. Romaine lives with her children and husband, and together the couple makes sure that the various household expenses are provided for.

For almost 15 years Romaine has worked selling poultry in a market in Benin, and she gets her supplies in the Benin regions. This is the fourth time that she and the other members of the Noudjihou group have requested financial support from Alidé. They have done so to increase their working capital, as well as to better meet their customers’ requests. They have successfully repaid their prior loans.
