A loan of $600 helped to stock up on household and kitchen items for resale.

Merime's story

Merime is a 25-year-old single man from Cameroon. For the past 11 years, he has been running a small shop in a district of Douala where he sells household and kitchen items. His skill and enthusiasm have helped him to build a solid customer base whose needs he can no longer meet.

This loan will help him to stock up on merchandise such as plates, bowls, buckets, glasses, portable gas stoves, etc.

Merime plans to use the profits earned with this loan to open another store elsewhere in the city to better meet customer demand. He would also like to start a family.
