A loan of $725 helped to purchase a polyethylene cover for her greenhouse.

Natia's story

Natia is from the Sagarejo district of East Georgia. She is 40 years old, divorced and lives with her two children (22 and 12 years old). The elder daughter is a student and the younger son goes to the local school. The family earns their living through their agricultural business. In particular, Natia runs a small dairy farm and produces dairy products which are sold locally. In addition, the family owns a greenhouse in which tarragons are grown. Natia does all relevant agricultural works to ensure a good harvest. The harvested products are sold to greens wholesalers.

Natia requested a loan to purchase a greenhouse polyethylene cover to allow her to sow more tarragon. After the greenhouse is covered properly, it will keep the needed temperature and the family will be able to harvest and sell tarragon during the whole year. This will significantly increase the family's income which Natia will use for improving the living conditions for her family.
