Channy is 31 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than a year, earning approximately $4 per day. Her husband runs a business of purchasing junk materials to resell. He earns about $25 each day.
In order to improve her husband’s business, Channy is requesting a loan of $800 to raise capital for the business of purchasing junk materials to resell. This money will help him obtain enough capital to run the business and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to run a junk shop and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
