Irekpo-Lodjou Group's story

The Irekpo-Lodjou group is made of 3 people who are friends and also share family ties. The representative of the group, named Sofiatou Ololadé, is the one whose hand is raised in the photo. This is the first time that this group has sought financial support from Alidé in order to increase their business.

Sofiatou Ololadé is 28 years old and a mother of one child who has not been to school. She lives together with her husband and her only child. Together, the couple takes care of their different needs. Sofiatou Ololadé did not go to school.

For four years Sofiatou Ololadé has been selling various goods and cosmetics from her home and in a town in Benin. She procures her goods from Nigeria.

Customer requests are increasing but given her limited means, Sofiatou Ololadé can no longer meet their needs. Because of this, she and the other members of the Irekpo-Lodjou group are seeking this first loan from Alidé.
