A loan of $600 helped to buy perishable goods.

Obdulio Alejandro's story

Obdulio, who is 38 years of age, is a highly responsible person in all aspects of his life. He lives with his wife, three children (all of them minors) and a grandson. Obdulio owns a shop where he sells a variety of goods such as: spices, bread, bottled water, sauces and eggs, amongst other things. Similarly, to provide another source of income, his wife makes tortillas every day. Both businesses are reasonably stable and very profitable. Obdulio is, therefore, seeking a loan from INTEGRAL so that he can buy larger quantities of perishable goods and, thereby, offer a wider range of goods in the shop. He will also use it to buy in bulk the corn needed for increased tortilla production.
