32-Azucenas Group's story

The 32-Azucenas communal bank is made up of nine members, seven women and two men. The president of the bank is Ysabel. She is 24 years old and married with a three-year-old son. Ysabel sells shoes, especially flip-flops. She has a stand in the Cruce Taquiña area of the city of Cochabamba. This loan is her fourth cycle in the institution. Ysabel is going to use the loan to buy a variety of flip-flops and in this way offer a variety of products to her customers. Her reason for asking for this loan is to continue improving her business. Ysabel is going to use the profits to continue buying a variety of products. Ysabel is a very hard-working person. She feels happy about the opportunity given to her and her fellow members in the group, since in some cases they are the sole support for their families.
