A loan of $800 helped to buy wood, foam rubber, fabric, and other supplies for his cabinetmaking shop.

Honorio's story

With a loan for 31,500 pesos Honrorio has been able to buy wood, foam rubber, fabric, and other supplies for his cabinetmaking shop. Honorio has always liked manual labor. He opened his shop 14 years ago, and to date he has supported his family with the shop. Honorio is married, and his wife works as a helper in a cafeteria. They have four children, ages 14, 7, 5, and 3. All of the children go to school except for the youngest, who stays at home. “My main goal for the future is to build a house for my children. Thanks to God we have already bought the land. We only lack enough savings to start building,” Honorio told us.
