A loan of $525 helped to buy new and used clothes to sell.

Delmy's story

Delmy, 34, is married and has three children; she lives with her family in Tela, Atlántida. She’s been a merchant for three years selling clothes like shirts, pants, blouses and underwear and sandals, sheets and cosmetics like lotions, creams, make-up, shampoo and others. She does this from place to place and also based on prior orders. She’s stayed in business by means of loans. The one she’s asking for now is her third and it’s for 10,000 Lempiras she’ll use to buy new and used clothes to fill end-of-year customer orders. Her plan is to continue saving her profits to do some home improvements and to make her business grow.
