A loan of $525 helped to buy fertilizer, manure and to pay labor costs.

Carlos Humberto's story

Carlos, 41, is in a common law relationship with his wife. He lives with her and their three children in Nueva Frontera, Santa Bárbara Department. Carlos has always worked in agriculture growing basic grains (corn and beans) and coffee. He has a small coffee farm and he sells what he grows in damp parchment stage. Aiming at providing adequate crop care, he’s requesting a 10,000 Lempira loan to buy fertilizer, manure and to pay to hire day laborers to feed and weed the coffee crop. Carlos wants to use profits in future to buy a vehicle he can use to transport his harvest from his farm.
