A loan of $3,700 helped a member to buy more fruit and vegetable items to resell.

Mission Group's story

Michael, who is in his mid 20s, is married and lives with his wife with a young baby. For five years now, Michael he has been earning a living by running a genge (fruits and vegetable) business. He works from 5am to 7pm daily and he is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be his first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania which he wants to use to buy more fruit and vegetable items to resell to more customers. His dream is to one day be able to build a house.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Mission" which totals 11 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
