A loan of $975 helped to purchase a shock of nuts to make more Churchkhela to sell.

Izoldi's story

Izoldi is 45 years old and from a small village of the Gurjaani district, East Georgia. She lives with her 49-year-old husband and her two sons (20- and 15-years-old). Her husband works as a brick-layer and gets a monthly income. The family runs an agricultural business. In particular, they have 45 persimmon roots; they harvest them and sell them locally.

Izoldi has a 0.20 hectare vineyard and she produces Churchkhela (traditional sausage-shaped candies; the main ingredients are grape must, nuts and flour) and sells them in the village at the local open market. She is a very hardworking woman and has a rich experience in her business.

Izoldi has requested a loan to purchase a stock of nuts for her Churchkhela. After the stock of nuts is purchased, she will be able to produce more Churchkhela and increase her sales. This will significantly increase the income of her family and thus, they will be able to improve their living conditions. Izoldi awaits your support.
