A loan of $400 helped to buy pigs and turkeys to sell for Christmas.

Valentin's story

Valentín, 39, is married and has five children who are dependent on him. He lives in his own house with his family. His house is located in one of the settlements making up the Lambayeque zone; it’s a small community of about 50 families.

The activity he carries out is raising and selling animals. He’s been doing this for ten years. The business is home-based. He learned it from his parents, that is, he knows it to perfection. Income earned from these activities are used to cover family expenses. He has competition but he also has a wide market to sell in. In addition, he earns extra income from tasks related to agriculture.

He’s asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 1,000 new sol loan to buy pigs and turkeys to sell later for Christmas.
