Ablavi Gisèle's Group's story

This is a group of two women who have joint liability. Gisèle who is responsible for the group is 37 years old. She is married and mother to four children, who attend school. The eldest is 13 years old and the youngest seven. Gisèle has been selling canned foods, oil, macaroni and other products for several years and gets her supplies in one of Benin's markets. With a view to increasing her capital and responding favorably to customer demand, she has requested and been granted a micro-loan from Finadev. This loan will enable her to maximise her profit so that she can contribute to her children's education and help her husband with the building of their house. Gisèle is on the left of the photo.
