A loan of $775 helped to purchase a computer.

Marisabel's story

Marisabel, 35, is an independent and hard-working woman. She has a son, Sebastian, who is four years old, who has been her motivation in many different areas. Currently her employment situation allows her to rent a room for herself and her son. Two years ago, she was working as a teacher, but was not able to continue because she did not have a degree due to financial hardships. Thanks to the trust of MFP and with accessible loans, she was able to finish and at last work at what has always been her vocation in life. She considers being a teacher one of the best things it is possible to chose since working with children makes you feel useful in society.

However many inconveniences she faced, including the lack of organization and solution of the union problems, none were a motivation to dampen her wish to participate in education in her country. One of her needs as a teacher is to acquire a computer since she thinks it is a necessary tool which will help her work as a teacher. She will be more fluid in her work which will benefit her students.

This is her fifth loan. As a professional, she believes that a good example brings progress, so she has always been on time with her payments. She admires and thanks her work colleagues for the welcome they have provided as well as the dedicated effort she has made to get ahead.

She plans to use the 2000 nuevos soles from the loan to purchase a computer which she considers an important tool to improve herself as a teacher.
