A loan of $1,175 helped to expand her timber yard.

Ruth's story

Ruth is 37 years old and married to Njenga. She is blessed with three children aged 10, 15, and 20 years. She operates a timber yard and has been running this business for 10 years. She earns a monthly income of KES 45,000.

She has borrowed a third loan of KES 100,000 from KADET LTD with which she intends to purchase more timber for resale. She also plans to use the funds for the expansion of the yard. The anticipated profit will be used to pay school fees for her school-going children.

Her dreams are to improve her living standards and to own her own residential plot.
