Karen's story

Karen is a very dynamic 28-year-old woman. She is married and has three small children with whom she gives all her love and all the care they need. They all live together in their own home, and Karen works very hard to improve their quality of life. Karen provides distinct copying services, monographs and didactic drawings. She has a photocopier that she purchased some years ago with the help of her husband and installed it in a space in her home where she tends to customers every day. Luckily, her home is located in front of a kindergarten and near an elementary school, which helps her have permanent customers. She has only been working for two years and it is going very well since her income is stable. What she likes about her job is that she has time to care for her children and do household chores, as well as feeling like she is contributing to children's education by giving them the opportunity to have photocopied texts to help them do their homework. She wants to set up her business with school supplies and increase her profits. This will be her second loan with Kiva partner MFP, and she is grateful to those who have made this possible to help her achieve her objectives. With the loan, she plans to purchase paper, printer ink and some office supplies like pens, pencils and erasers.
