A loan of $1,175 helped to buy perfumes, powders and body lotions as well as clothing.

Eldith's story

Eldith, 52, is a good, responsible woman. She raised and educated her three children as a single mother. Now they are grown and independent, and they live together in the house she owns. Eldith's work is selling clothing and cosmetics from catalogs - colognes and perfumes are her best sellers. She works every day, looking for friends, neighbors and family members to sell products to or deliver those that have been ordered ahead of time. She has been doing this for around 10 years, working alone since she is the only one covering the costs for her household. In addition, she sells food on the weekends at the sports park, which allows her to have a flow of customers on those days. It's going well because she doesn't have a lot of expenses and she sells enough to pay for her basic needs. In the future she would like to start selling clothing to take advantage of the Christmas season.

This is her 6th loan with the institution MFP, and she thanks everyone who has given her the opportunity to access a loan so that she could make her plans a reality. With the 3000 soles requested she will buy more products to have in stock like perfumes, powders and body lotions. She will also buy clothing to begin selling to her customers during the holiday season.
