Fatuma, 55, is married and has three children; she lives in the town of Msambweni. She has always been a merchant. She’s been making and selling dumplings for five years. She has the business at home and she has a very good clientele.
She has worked with Yehu loans for one cycle. This current loan is for 25,000 KES that she’ll use to stock up on raw materials like wheat flour, cooking oil, etc.
She hopes to continue working hard to continue to expand the business and improve her family’s quality of life.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
