Lem's Group's story

Living in a rural village of the Bakan district, Lem is 30 years old and married with two children, both of whom are dependents and help the family business. The main source of the family’s income is from rice farming on five hectares, which she and her husband have been doing for 8 years to make a living. The current business earns her about 30,000 KHR per day and she manages to save about 15,000 KHR each day after daily expenses.

Lem’s group consists of seven members who are just with VisionFund this cycle. Now leading her group to apply for a loan, Lem, who is the leader, will use her portion to buy fertilizers for her farmland. She hopes to make more income so as to make a living better.
