A loan of $375 helped a member to buy fertilizers for her farmland.

Thy's Group's story

Thy, a rural villager from the Thmor Koul district, is 26 years old and single. To make a living, she has been providing tailoring services. Having been in this business for five years, she currently can earn about 90,000 KHR per day, and can manage to save about 40,000 each day after offsetting daily living expenses.

This is the microloan for Thy’s group of two. She is a client in her first loan cycle with VisionFund. Now she is leading her group to apply for a loan. As the leader, she is going to use her portion of the loan to buy fertilizers for her farmland. Thy hopes this loan will enable her to increase her family’s income and to provide them a better living.
