Nuura's story

Nuura is married and she has one child. Nuura been buying and selling large quantities rice, millet, beans, peanuts, wheat and some grocery products for ten years. She travels to the northern part of Ghana to buy her products and retails them in the central region of the country. The cost of her frequent travels reduce her income. She will use her loan to buy more bags of rice, millet, beans, peanuts, etc., on each trip so that her travel expenses are fewer and she can avoid price hikes. She is a member of the group called “Odwanwhefo Pa” meaning the Good Shepherd. Members agree to guarantee for each other to repay the loan.
