Jaidy B., 36, is a university student. She lives with her friend in Paynesville South. She has two children that are 16 and 19 years old. Only one of her children stays with her and attends school. The other child lives with his father. For the past ten years she has been selling imported blouses, dresses, and slippers. She started by selling coal in the community, before getting into clothing sales. Because of the quality material that she sells, she makes a profit every day. She uses the profit to improve the business and to help with the household expenses. She has requested her third loan from BRAC Liberia to purchase more imported blouses, dresses, and slippers for the business. Her dream for the future is to build a house.
