A loan of $600 helped to buy some fabrics.

Modibo's story

Modibo is a 28-year-old married man and the father of three children. He lives with his wife and children in a traditional family in the Nièbala neighborhood of Bougouni.

Modibo holds a degree and he has been buying and selling fabrics for more than five years, an activity he learned from a friend who worked in business.

Thanks to his experience of more than five years, Modibo knows his business very well. He is a popular seller in Bougouni and he has a large number of customers.

In order to boost his business, he has decided to join the loan program offered by Soro Yiriwaso. This is his second loan with the institution, and he had no difficulty repaying his last loan.

Modibo is planning to buy 15 sets of fabrics from sellers traveling to Burkina Faso. He sells to a retail customer base consisting of both men and women. He sells for cash or on credit, offering the option of monthly payments.

He is expecting monthly profits to reach 45,000 CFA francs, which will be used to repay his loan and to cover his family expenses.
