A loan of $275 helped a member to buy fertilizer for her rice farm.

Navy's Group's story

Navy, a young mother of two little kids, is 25 years old and a local resident, from Battambang Province's Thmor Koul district of Cambodia. Her sources of income are vegetable selling (basil, cabbage, eggplant, etc.) and rice farming. She has engaged in this business for five years. As a result of the successful loan that she has completely paid back, she feels empowered. Now she believes that she can support her living standard, especially in providing decent food for her children.

Navy's group consists of three members, two women and one man. They have formed this group to seek a new loan. Navy will use her portion of the loan to buy fertilizer for her rice farm. She hopes that she can make more income from her current business, and improve her living conditions.
