Leonicia's story

Leonicia, 56, is a single mother of one dependent daughter. She owns a house and for the last ten years has been in the business of selling tortillas and fruit drinks. She has a small grocery store at home and she sells to neighbors who visit her store daily. She lives in the community of San Lorenzo in south Honduras. Leonicia is a hardworking woman who very much wants to get ahead and is very honest with her commitments.

Leonicia is requesting a loan to buy corn, firewood, fruit drinks, snacks and cookies. With support from this loan she intends to cover her business’ financial need because she wants to buy raw materials to continue making tortillas and to stock her small grocery store to get ahead with her family this way. She’s very happy to continue working with Prisma loans and her dream is to make some home improvements.
