Khatuna is from the Telavi district. She is 41 years old and lives with her husband and a child. Her husband is a shepherd and shepherds their own twenty-one sheep. In addition, the family runs a small dairy farm of one milk cow, whose milk is used in cheese products. Khatuna also owns a vineyard and picks the grapes in the late summer. She sells cheese and grapes at the local open market. Khatuna works hard to do her best for the family.
She requested a loan to purchase additional sheep. Khatuna will be able to have lambs after several months and she will expand her animal husbandry business. This will significantly increase the income of the family. The increased income will be reinvested in the family agricultural business and the family will improve their living conditions.
