A loan of $525 helped to buy a calf.

Felipe Santiago's story

Felipe, 43 years old, is married. His family includes his wife and their three children; the oldest is 12 years old, another is 8 years old, and the youngest is 4 years old. They are all in school. His wife is in charge of caring for them, completing the household chores, and helping Felipe with some of the outdoor work. Felipe is a small farmer on his area of land.

He is requesting his second loan to buy a calf, with which he will have additional income from milk production. His greatest desire and goal is to increase his cattle herd so he can leave them with his children. This way, they will have secure jobs to work at so they can move forward and have the necessities in life.
