A loan of $200 helped to fix up her restaurant and buy food products.

Elise's story

Elise is a young woman from Cameroon, age 30. She has four children between the ages of 1 and 16, three of whom attend school. She lives with her partner, who has two children of his own. Elise has been running her own business, a small restaurant, for five years. She would like this loan not only for fixing up her restaurant in order to make it cleaner and more attractive, but also to buy four bags of food supplies (rice, beans), 10 bundles of bananas, fish, meat, and 22 litres of oil. This will allow her to better respond to customer demand. Her general income will help her to provide more for her family. Her ambition is to expand her restaurant.
