Gustave is a 58-year-old man and a father with a family. He has a business raising livestock (he purchases chicks, raises them, and then sells them). His business is doing wonderfully, but his capital is not high, so he is always compelled to wait and fully raise his stock, which he sells, before he purchases new chicks again. Thus, the day-to-day shortage leads to dissatisfied customers, repeatedly.

Gustave is requesting this loan to purchase large quantities of chicks, and also some feed, enabling him not only to satisfy his already-growing customer base but also to make a larger profit. The profits this loan will bring in will help him to expand his business (increase the number of chicks) and also to meet the everyday needs of his family.
