A loan of $400 helped to purchase staple foods (chickens, fish, rice, and sundry ingredients for making sauces).

Regine's story

Régine is a 48-year-old merchant and a mother with a family. She opened a small restaurant and has been running it in her district in the capital for two years already. This restaurant enables her to resolve certain day-to-day needs. It is doing well, thanks to her savoir-faire and experience in this domain, as well as practical prices. This has allowed her to increase her customer base over the course of time. But her low level of capital no longer allows her to satisfy them fully, thus the need for this loan for increasing her inventory of staple foods (2 box of chicken, 2 boxes of fish, a sack of rice, and sundry items for making sauces), so as to obtain silverware and to increase her profit margins. Part of the profits will be reinvest in her business to expand it, and the rest will enable her to meet the needs of her family.
