A loan of $1,050 helped to purchase a photocopier.

Isabel Virginia's story

Sra. Isabel Virginia owns a cybercafé in a crowded neighborhood in the city of León. She has been in business for five years. Isabel is a widow and manages this business with her son.

Most of Sra. Isabel’s customers who come to her cybercafé are high school students performing research for their studies. She opens her business at 8:00 A.M. Isabel offers her customers Internet service, raised text printing, and domestic and international call services. Her business closes at 10 P.M.

Isabel is currently requesting a loan because she wants to invest in the direct purchase of a photocopier. Her customers are requesting this type of service and she will be able to earn more income and help her community.

Sra. Isabel is extremely grateful to CEPRODEL and Kiva for helping her grow her business. She started out with only three machines, and now she has seven. Her dream is to see her son reach the pinnacle of his career.
