Yarid Luz's story

Yarid, 35, is married and has two young children, ages 2 and 4. She is a merchant and a beauty stylist who lives in the town of Soledad, in the metropolitan area of the city of Barranquilla. She has 2 years experience selling cosmetics and perfumes, and applying beauty treatments. With her business she has earned the income to support the well-being of her family.

Yarid went from being employed to starting her own business once she decided to be independent, offering consumer beauty products and services. Her sales are made daily, in cash and also by credit, to a clientele made up of friends, neighbors and referrals. Her goal is to later have larger, independent facilities, but her biggest challenge in the short term is not having enough working capital to achieve it.

This is why she is requesting a loan from credikiva, with which she will buy cosmetics, shoes, perfumes, beauty products like dyes, nail polish, etc. Along the way, Yarid strives to turn her dreams into reality, relying in the first place on this financing, which she foresees as a success because it comes at a time of a lot of commercial activity. The customers have money to spend because of premiums and bonuses from work, and she usually does very well during this season.
