A loan of $525 helped to buy clothes and low-cost novelty items to resell.

Deysi Corina's story

Deysi, 27, is a single mother living in the municipality of San Manuel, Cortes, with her son and a cousin. She’s always been a merchant and has been selling clothes, sandals, shoes, perfume and low-cost novelty items for seven years. She sells at home where her customers come to order products and she also sells from place to place. She sets up in front of an assembly plant on weekends to sell her merchandise.

Deysi has requested a 10,000 Lempira loan to buy more new clothes and low-cost items like hair fasteners, hair clips, toys and others to sell. This loan will help her improve income and her business and to increase inventory. Her goal is to stay in business and grow every day to earn income to help her son and her family.
