Centro De Salud Urubamba Group's story

A group of coworkers and friends formed Centro de Salud de Urubamba Communal Bank in the district and province of Urubamba. The communal bank has been operating for six months and it's well organized. The bank is made up of people who are always looking for opportunities to get ahead and, with their daily efforts, give their children a better future. Most of the members are health professionals such as nurses, aides, and doctors. All these professionals work in a health clinic in the city of Urubamba. Flor María was born in the city of Cusco but currently lives in Urubamba where she works. She's 41 years old and married, and has two children from this relationship. She has been an oral surgeon for 14 years and it's going very well for her. She works as a dentist in a health center but in her free time she practices independently, doing treatments, preventive care, extractions, and other procedures. Now she needs a loan to buy amalgam, resin, and other work materials. Her dream is to open a dental clinic. The members in general are grateful for their opportunity and pledge to make their various payments on time. (The member who appears at the bottom of the photograph asked the board permission to arrive late to the meeting.)
