A loan of $3,000 helped a member to purchase chicks (baby chickens) and stock feed.

Royal Sisters Group's story

This is 55-year-old Pfungwa from Mutare, the capital of Minicaland province in Zimbabwe. She is married and has five children.

Pfungwa runs an agriculture business producing poultry. The business has been in operation for 2 years. She says the main challenge faced is that some of the chicks can experience health issues.

Pfungwa has requested a loan of $600 to purchase chicks (baby chickens) and stock feed. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the family's general welfare. In the future Pfungwa, plans to expand capacity to raise 500 chicks.
