A loan of $1,000 helped to buy charcoal.

Nadou's story

Nadou, who is married to an employee and is mother to an 18-year old child who is at school, is 52 years old and a retailer by trade. She sells charcoal in the market and gets her supplies in Lomé and in inland towns. The second loan she is requesting from WAGES will be used to buy sacks of charcoal for resale so she can bring in sufficient profits to reinvest in the business and provide for her family's basic needs.
