Las Conchitas (Flat) Group
In this Group: Sandra, Lorena Del Carmen, Blanca Luz
This group is called “Las Conchitas”. They identify themselves with this name because the members are from the Concepción neighborhood, which they celebrate during the month of June.

Blanca Luz is the one who was interviewed. She was born in Copínala in the month of August in 1951. She attended school until the third year of high school. She got married when she was 17, and she has four children, who are all now married.

She devotes herself to her food business. She has been working in the business for nine years and two months. She says that it is going well for her because she, herself, goes out and takes orders to sell and deliver to her customers.

She started this business activity because she also likes to contribute income to her household. This way she helps with some of the expenses that are generated daily. She is a single woman, and she depends solely upon her business.

Her motive for this business activity is to have her own money. Her husband was in bad health, and he could no longer work. That is why she decided to devote her time to something that left her with income. What she wishes is to manage to get ahead in her business as long as God gives her life. She wants to use the income that she is getting to improve the place where she sells.

The people who comprise the group are:

Lorena del Carmen: Will invest in buying and selling soft drinks
Sandra: Will invest in buying materials for her beauty salon
