A loan of $525 helped to buy corn tortillas wholesale to resell.

Victor Ramon's story

Victor, age 39, lives with his wife and two children in the Lima municipality of Cortes. Victor previously worked at a factory. Upon being left without employment, he decided to undertake his own business.

He buys corn tortillas wholesale at a tortilla business and resells them packaged for another price. This business generates good income for him. He sells in an itinerant manner. He uses a motorcycle as his means of transportation in order to distribute the tortillas door to door. He sells in the morning until midday and in the afternoon.

The loan he is requesting is for 10,000 lempiras. He will use it to buy more product to sell and expand his customer coverage. His goal is to make his business grow, to improve his income, and to improve his family’s quality of life.
