Gayane's story

Gayane has been engaged in gardening for a long time. With her younger son’s and husband’s help, she cultivates corn for sale; they also grow cucumbers, tomatoes, haricots, Oriental persimmons and apples for their family’s use.

Gayane and her family intend to develop their gardening and start to grow apples and Oriental persimmons for sale as well. This will allow them to increase their family’s income in the future.

Gayane is seeking an 800.000 AMD loan to lay out an apple and Oriental persimmon garden. Gayane lives in Sarigyugh village, Tavush region. She graduated from Yerevan State University, and she works as a physics teacher at the village school. Gayane is married and she has three children. Her elder children are married and they live separately from their parents. Gayane’s younger son graduated from Yerevan State University, but now he is jobless and he helps his parents with gardening. Gayane’s husband works as an inspector at State Inspectorate of Environmental Protection.
