Erkeiym's story

Erkeiym was born in the Erkin village. She is 51 years old, a widow and raised four children. Her oldest son left to work in the Russian Federation, two daughters are married, and the youngest daughter works in Osh. Erkeiym obtained a secondary-specialized education and shows herself as a very conscientious and decent person. Besides this, Erkeiym is able to organize her business at a high level. Animal husbandry is the primary source of income for the family. After the breakup of the Soviet Union, Erkeiym's family got involved in animal husbandry. This business helped feed the family even during those difficult years of perestroika. Erkeiym's starting capital amounted to practically 0 som. Since that time, the family has tried to improve its living conditions and increase livestock headcount. Today, the family's monthly income amounts to 10,000 som (KGS), and the business contains two cows. In order to further expand her business, Erkeiym requested a loan in the amount of 135,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy additional livestock at a lower price. Erkeiym's plans are to improve the family's welfare and to purchase a land plot in the future.
