6 De Enero Group's story

The committee named “6 de Enero” (January 6th) is in its ninth loan cycle as part of the Women Entrepreneurs Program. This group consists of 19 women, all of whom are friends and neighbors from the city of Asunción. They decided to join together and work as a group so that they could help their families.

Luz joined this group and says that she has made many sacrifices in order to help her family. She sells cakes that she prepares herself. Thanks to her good work, she has been able to move forward and establish a good clientele. Luz is requesting a loan so that she can buy flour, shortening, eggs, sugar, candies, and other ingredients. This will allow her to continue making cakes that she can sell.
